(Intro)
More than a kit, a statement of style.
DEGAINE is a digital media project dedicated to exploring football shirts as fashion icons rather than just sportswear.
I joined the team at the early stage to refresh the visual identity and produce engaging social-first content on Instagram and TikTok.

(Context)
DEGAINE is a digital media project born to explore football shirts not just as sports gear, but as a true part of fashion culture. When I joined the team at the early stages of the launch, the concept and logo already existed, but the visual identity felt too static for a digital-first platform.
My role was to reshape the brand image to fit the fast-paced, vibrant, and experimental nature of social media, while also producing and editing content that could stand out on Instagram and TikTok.

(Creative
Direction
& Visual Identity)
To shift DEGAINE into a more youthful and digital territory, I developed a refreshed identity around the existing logo:
• Animated logo treatment: the wordmark encircling the original logo to give it rhythm and movement.
• Color palette: a vibrant shade between fluorescent yellow (football jerseys) and energetic green (fresh turf), impossible to use in print, but striking on screens.
• Graphic language: raw, street-inspired visuals, influenced by collage, graffiti, and urban textures.

The aim was to create a bold, digital-native brand that connected football aesthetics with streetwear and fashion culture, a nod to how players like Jules Koundé embody the crossover between sport and style.

(Content Formats
& Production)
We experimented with several recurring video formats:
• Inspecteur Maillot ⟶ storytelling around vintage football shirts and their unique backstories.
• Sauce Maillot ⟶ interviews with artists and public figures sharing their passion for football shirts.
• Humoristic shorts ⟶ improvised, high-energy skits that leveraged the talent of our host Paul.

My role covered the full creative and production pipeline:
• Video editing from start to finish (2 videos per week).
• Subtitling and motion design for accessibility and rhythm.
• Music sourcing and sound design.
• Set preparation and visual direction during shoots.

This workflow allowed us to maintain a consistent production rhythm while keeping the brand identity cohesive across all touchpoints.

(Metrics)
⟶ Instagram: The account started with an inherited follower base, which explained a short-term decline as we redefined the editorial line. However, engagement stabilized as the new formats and identity took shape.
⟶ TikTok: Starting from scratch, we built steady organic growth thanks to punchy edits and platform-native storytelling. The consistency of posting (twice a week) helped establish the account as a fresh voice in football culture.

Qualitative impact: DEGAINE successfully positioned itself as a bridge between streetwear and football, with a strong, recognizable digital-first identity.

(My roles)
• Creative direction of the digital identity
• Motion design & animated logo
• Video editing (montage, subtitles, sound, motion)
• Set preparation & support during shoots
• Content strategy contribution (recurring formats & tone of voice)
(Key learning)
This project was an opportunity to combine creative direction with hands-on production. It taught me how to:
Adapt and remix an existing brand identity for new digital contexts.
• Build a visual and editorial line consistent across formats and platforms.
Balance creativity with the demands of fast-paced, high-volume production.
(Experience)
With DEGAINE, I helped transform a simple idea into a vibrant digital media brand, merging football culture, fashion, and street aesthetics into a cohesive online presence.
